 How to choose a crystal that speaks to your Soul.Crystals are beautiful! Shiny, sparkly, pretty colours...but they can also pack a punch when we use them to help us with emotionally, physically and spiritually. Each one holds a unique vibration, resonating with the body, mind, and spirit in different ways. They often become a trusted ally and friend through emotional times as we gravitate to our favourites for specific purposes. Choosing a crystal doesn’t have to feel like a complicated choice. Crystals, minerals or the 'pretty coloured rocks' (as my daughter calls them), or gemstones that is meant for you will often call out in quiet whisper, a spark of recognition or familiar feeling, or a sense of “yes" or "positive feeling". Personally, I find they usually scream at me saying 'Pick me! Pick me!" However it comes to you, know that this is your intuition guiding you to the crystal or gemstone that your soul is ready to work with. Often, it’s not so much that you choose a crystal — but rather, the crystal devas choose you. A stone may catch your eye, feel warm in your hand, or stir a wave of calm or excitement in your heart. These subtle nudges are signs that its frequency is aligned with what you need right now. Here are some ways to choose a new crystal friend!1. Follow Your Intuition Trust the crystal that stands out visually, or that you feel drawn to touch. Your energy body recognizes what your mind may not yet understand. 2. Notice Physical Sensations Tingling in your palm, warmth, or even a wave of calm when holding a stone are signs of resonance. 3. Connect Through Intention Hold a stone and ask silently: “Are you here to work with me?” Allow your inner knowing to respond. 4. Choose by Purpose Some prefer to pick a crystal for specific support — such as protection, healing, abundance, or love. 5. Work with Chakra Alignment Selecting stones by color and resonance with energy centers (chakras) can be a clear way to find balance. What stones or crystals should I work with?

Remember, your crystal allies are not random — they are divine connections, responding to the call your soul has made in its time of need. Whether you seek clarity, healing, or spiritual awakening, the right stone will find you when the time is right. Its important not to dismiss crystals given to you by someone else. We can react out of fear of 'picking up negative energy' or 'bad vibes'. We can always clear and program crystals - repurposing them towards current needs. Some crystals I have shared space with I have passed onto clients, students and friends. Others I have had for years and will not part with as they have a particular purpose.
